Lyp sync tryouts Saturday Sept 13, 2007 2 PM Amphitheater downtown Niles on the corner of Main St and Front St

Opening Ceremonies will be held this year again in the auditorium at the Niles High School at 6:30 PM Come Saturday night the 13th of September and applause as the folks of Apple Festival recieve awards and enjoy there accomplishments of the past years and many more to come.

Following the Opening Ceremonies!!!!!!!!  The Four Flags Area Apple Festival and the patrons of Niles and surrounding areas await their own Queens to be announced !!!!1 

Queen Contest/ Jr Miss Contest both will be held immediately following the Opening Ceremonies of the 36th Annual Four Flags Area Apple Festival. The contest will be held at the Niles High School on the corner of 17th and Eagle Street in Niles. These girls put a lot of efforts into making each and everyone of them Queens no matter if they win or not to get that courage up to be up on that stage for some are just a major accomplisment.  The experiences of meeting new family members and new friends is probably the best part of the experience of being Miss Apple Festival Queen and Court.  But even if the girls are not crowned in our eyes they are all winners....... This contest will be held at approx 7PM.  Afterglow immediately following for the girls to get to know the Board of Directors and to Thank all participants for a job WELL DONE!!!!!

Trike / Big Wheel Race: Saturday Sept 20, 2007.  Pre registration 8:30am and Contest begins at 9:00 AM Ring Lardner Middle School Parking lot. Bring your own trike and big wheels to have a great time racing.  Nascar watch out this is goin to be the next big thing.  Win Great prizes and even have a few laughs when the adults get on the little trikes. 

Prince / Princess selection Saturday Sept 20, 2007 . Pre registration required. Contest begins at 10:30 AM. Please get applications from Niles Daily Star / Leader Publications. Call Lolli at 269-683-8870. 

Youth Parade:  Saturday Sept 20, 2007  1 PM Eastside Park to 17th Street to Apple Festival Grounds.  Enter your float, bike, wagon, strollers or any family oriented unit for kids.  The more kids the better.  The parade route is down 17th Street where it will demarshall at the Apple Festival Grounds. 

Youth Day:  Saturday Sept 20, 2007 2 PM till whenever the children are to wore out to move!  Youth Day is for kids of all ages, FREE.  Play games, face paintings, explore with Curious Kids Museum, have some fun with Ronald, and maybe even watch the magic show...  Hot dogs, chips, drinks, sno cones all provided at no charge to anyone!!!!
