Entertainment Review 2011
The Four Flags Area Apple Festival would like to invite you to two nights of spectacular entertainment! Not only are the entertainers we have lined up great, but they are brought to the festival for your listening enjoyment at no cost to their fans!
Friday, September 30th
Our Friday performance features Michigan performers “Centerville.” They get their name from a combination of the town of Greenville where the three women are from and Central Michigan University where all three women attended college.
Centerville performs country music, some original music and some popular country music that we’ll all recognize. They won the 2008 Colgate Country Showdown which is a national competition to find promising country music talent and they are a past winner of the Muskegon Summer Celebration Battle of the Bands.
Saturday, October 1st (before fireworks)
Saturday entertainment features Cher impersonator Lisa Irion. Lisa is one of the world’s foremost Cher Impersonator, dazzling audiences with her audience interactive, live vocal performances in spectacular costume, replica’s from Cher’s concert tours. She has been performing as a Cher tribute artist since 2003.
Lisa comes to us from Lafayette, Louisiana with over 20 years experience in stage, television and radio. She got her start in 2003 working along with Niles’ own Elvis impersonator, Irv Cass. After a year, her own career took on a life of it’s own. You won’t want to miss this performance.
Immediately following this performance, patrons can enjoy a sky filled with fireworks.
Saturday, October 1st (after fireworks)
Stick around after the fireworks to hear “Catacomb.” Catacomb features Nick Blohm, originally from Niles. His performance is a solo acoustic guitar concert full of emotion and feeling. You won’t be disappointed.
